Illustrative imageGarage floors, finished like the rest of the house.
The room you walk through every day deserves more than bare, stained concrete. We prepare the slab properly, recommend the right system and help you choose a finish.
IllustrativeA floor that earns its keep.
Easier to keep clean
A sealed, non-porous surface sweeps and rinses far more easily than bare concrete.
A brighter room
A finished floor reflects light back into the space, so the garage stops feeling like a basement.
Texture that forgives
Flake blends visually hide dust, tire marks and the small imperfections of everyday use.
Finished like the house
The garage is often the first room you walk into. It should feel like part of the home.
Most of a great floor is the part you never see.
A typical full-broadcast flake system has five layers. The final system for your space is specified only after we evaluate the slab.
- 05
Clear topcoat
The wear surface you walk and park on. This is where the sheen is chosen.
- 04
Flake broadcast
Vinyl chips spread to full coverage, then scraped smooth. This is the color and texture.
- 03
Base coat
A pigmented coat that bonds into the profiled concrete and locks the flakes in.
- 02
Mechanical profile
The slab is ground so the coating has something to grip. Most failures start by skipping this.
- 01
Your concrete
Every system starts with an honest look at the slab: moisture, cracks, old sealers.
Questions, answered.
When can I park on the floor again?
Cure times depend on the system, temperature and humidity. Your quote includes a specific schedule for walking and parking.
What about hot tire pickup?
It comes down to preparation and choosing the right system for a garage. We discuss it during the evaluation.
Can you repair cracks first?
Most cracks and spalls are addressed as part of preparation. We will tell you which ones and how during the evaluation.
Can I see the colors in person?
Yes. The Finish Studio is for exploring a direction; we confirm the final blend with physical samples.
